The confidence behind every step.

How we work.

Six steps. Three named models. Every claim cited, every conclusion challenged before it leaves the building.

METHODOLOGY

The Signal Method.

Every analytical pass goes through adversarial review, a separate analyst challenges the reasoning before it reaches you. Anything that fails the review is reworked.

SScopeAgree the question and lock the scope with you.
IInvestigateGather the evidence from every credible source.
GGaugeWeight the evidence and surface the first signals.
NNarrowDraft the answer and confirm the direction with you.
AAssessRun the deep analysis and pressure-test every conclusion.
LLandDeliver the call, the board pack, and the model.

THE MODELS

Three engines. Three services.

Each core service has its own analytical engine, a deliberate sequence of standard methods combined in ways uncommon at our price tier. Hover the stages of each model to see how the work flows.

The Reckoning Model

APPLIED ACROSS ALL SERIES

A multi-criteria scoring engine for ranking the world's opportunities and threats against your priorities. We begin with a global pass, collecting evidence on every credible candidate on the table. Then AHP model (Analytical Hierarchy Process) derives the weights from your own one-on-one comparisons, so the ranking reflects how you actually prioritise. TOPSIS model (Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) scores the field against those weights. Then we deep-dive the top three.

Standard methods in multi-criteria decision analysis, used in institutional procurement, policy work, and operations research.

The Cascade Model

APPLIED ACROSS ALL SERIES

A probabilistic engine for valuing the real option in front of you. Every input is modelled as a distribution, source-weighted by credibility or fitted to PERT, propagated through ten thousand Monte Carlo simulation runs. The output is a range covering both value and timing.

The verdict is set against your thresholds. You name the minimum acceptable NPV and the confidence you need; the model returns the probability your threshold is met, for example, "at this threshold, the chance of meeting your expectation is 83%." You also receive the model itself, so you can re-run the verdict as evidence or thresholds shift.

A strategic-sequencing engine for execution. Starts with the Strategic Choice Cascade, the framework Roger Martin built for Procter & Gamble, then applies a Series-specific sequencing model that picks the priorities and shapes the roadmap.

Once the strategy is locked, Critical Path Method names the activities and the dependencies; PERT puts a probabilistic timing and cost on each. The final artefact is a sequenced roadmap: a Gantt-shaped plan you can hand to an operations director the day it lands.

DISCIPLINE · ADVERSARIAL REVIEW

Every conclusion challenged. Every assumption tested.

No conclusion leaves Torsik without an adversarial review pass. An independent reviewing team challenges every claim from the outside in: every assumption questioned, every input pressure-tested, every recommendation forced to defend itself. Anything that does not survive the review is rewritten or withdrawn.

DISCIPLINE · CITATION

Every claim cited. Every footnote linked.

Every factual claim in every Torsik artefact carries a footnote. Every footnote carries a working link to a publicly available source. You can verify any sentence we write. You can hand the artefact to a regulator, an auditor, or a board, and stand behind it because the evidence is in the document.

WHAT YOU WALK AWAY WITH

The artefacts.

Four artefacts, in the order they reach you. The presentation comes first. The detail sits behind it.

01

The Presentation

A 60-minute walkthrough and Q&A, with whoever you want in the room.

02

The Board-Ready Deck

One page per question. Ready to put in front of a decision-maker without a redraw.

03

The Written Report

The substantive document. Fully cited, structured for defensibility.

04

The Model & Data Appendix

The model itself plus every assumption, source, and figure used.

HOW WE ENGAGE

What happens after you reach out.

A short, defined sequence. No drawn-out sales process. No commitment until the scope is fixed and the fee is locked.

01
First CallWithin 48 Hours

A 30-minute conversation. You explain the situation. We tell you which product fits, or whether one fits at all.

02
Scope LockedWithin The Week

A short engagement charter. The question, the criteria, the timeline, the fee. Signed before any deeper work begins.

03
The Work RunsTwo To Five Weeks

Evidence gathered, scored, pressure-tested. One mid-engagement written briefing for your review. No surprises.

04
Verdict DeliveredLive, Then Written

A live walkthrough of the verdict. The board pack, the model, the watchlist. Two working days for clarifications, then the final report.
