About Torsik

A consultancy built around the quality of the decision.

Torsik gives established UK businesses access to rigorous foreign-market evidence and decision models without the open-ended economics of a traditional consulting engagement.

Why Torsik exists

Expert evidence should not be reserved for the largest firms.

Recent advances in analytical tools have changed what a small specialist firm can do. Used properly, they make it possible to gather, structure and test evidence far faster, without taking judgement away from people.

Torsik was built around that opening. We use standardised products, AI-assisted research and consultant review to make serious foreign-market strategy work accessible to UK businesses that have historically been priced out when the decision mattered most.

Cheaper should not mean thinner. Every output is scoped in advance, every material claim is cited, and every recommendation is reviewed before the client sees it.

Position

One decision earlier.

We work one decision earlier than the usual consultancy brief: whether to enter, not how to execute; whether to respond, not how to comply.

The work gives leadership teams the verdict, the evidence behind it and the assumptions that could change it before resources are committed.

Four in five international expansions fail. Most do not fail because people were careless. They fail because the case for action came together before the evidence did.
Who we work with

UK leadership teams with a consequential foreign-market question.

We work with UK businesses when a foreign-market question is consequential enough to warrant a fast, fixed-fee assessment from an independent firm.

Typical buyer.

Managing directors, commercial, export, operations and finance leaders deciding where to expand, what to defend or which overseas exposure deserves action.

Recent sectors.

Manufacturing, robotics and automation, food and beverages, energy and EV hardware, medical equipment, lab equipment, cosmetics and regulated industries.

Common geographies.

United States, Canada, Brazil, EU member countries, Republic of Ireland, Switzerland, UAE, India, China, Japan and Australia.

A note from our founder

Built because the standard exists, but the access does not.

Too many UK businesses make international decisions without the standard of evidence those decisions actually deserve. The information exists. It is scattered, inconsistent and often shaped by the interests of those providing it.

Modern tools and a disciplined approach now bring that clarity within reach. Torsik exists to give the leadership teams of UK businesses access to the same standard of evidence the largest firms have always quietly used for their own boards.

A future we are excited about

Better decisions should leave something useful behind.

We started Torsik on the belief that better decisions today should make for a better future, for our clients and, in small ways, for people who will never read this page.

Carbon-neutral from day one.

We keep the operating model light and account for the footprint of the work we do.

5% donated to Make-A-Wish UK.

Every sale includes a donation through Work for Good, helping grant wishes for children with critical illnesses.

Trees funded through Carma.

For every printed copy of our material, we fund a tree planted in Africa through Carma.

Even if Torsik is not the right fit right now, a small gift to Make-A-Wish UK or Carma would still make this visit worth something.

Bring us a market question the leadership team cannot yet answer. We will tell you whether it fits a defined product, what evidence it needs, and what the fixed fee would be. If it does not fit, we will say so.
